Zombie Fallout #3 The End by Mark Tufo Book review

by Mark Tufo

Continues Michael Talbot's quest to be rid of the evil named Eliza that hunts him and his family across the country. As the world spirals even further down into the abyss of apocalypse one man struggles to keep those around him safe.
Side by side Michael stands with his wife, their children, his friends and the wonder Bulldog along with the Wal-Mart greeter Tommy who is infinitely more than he appears and whether he is leading them to salvation or death is only a measure of degrees.

I have just blasted through Zombie fallout series #3,# 3.5 and #4 as I simply could not stop reading (not to even write this review) and I had to read one after the other.
Each book just gets better and better, Mark has an excellent writing style with comedic, sarcastic twist with Mike the main character. He just gets more likable by the second.
Many book series get worse and often boring as the idea has played out. NOT with Zombie Fallout, each book has yet another amazing twist and interest each ending with another cliffhanger. So you just have to get the next book, you cant stop reading, you really you cant.

Mark Tufo you've done it again....I just dont know where he gets this genius ideas from let alone makes them work seamlessly into the storyline. Each book continues from the next with Mike struggling to keep his family and close group of friends safe and Henry the farting bulldog of course; who comes into his own in this book...and gets a friend....I love this dog (...see even the animals had fantastic characters)..
This full novel is slightly slower paced to allow us to catchup from ZF #2 and the group try and recover from their losses. After #1 and #2 we know the characters and really feel for them as you become so emotionally attached to them all. Mark has created some fab characters who we can relate to, maybe not like, but most certainly relate to and we get to meet some new ones too.
Some unique parts of the book are noticing slight changes with some of the zombies; are they actually planning and stalking their prey as the bug starts to mutate. As well as zombies and rednecks being controlled by the evil Eliza (the 500 year old zombie vampire); so they are fighting zombies and humans.
How far will she go to kill Mike as all he wants to do is to get back to his family in Maine and Mark manages to throw something at Mike and his group at every corner. I love how its not a breeze to escape everytime.
You feel the heartache and pain; this excellent descriptive writing puts you right there.....can you hear that zombie behind you...what was that noise downstairs...?
The final cliffhanger leaves us finding more about Tommy and Eliza and her plan for the Talbot family; but we still dont know why and this makes this book series even more fascinating.
This is my favorite ALLTIME....yes I said alltime zombie series and if you are a zombie-holic you need to start from book 1 and dont stop reading.
